The Jamie Surya Yoga Studio is proud to be a trauma-informed studio, offering trauma-sensitive yoga, and yoga for mental health including anxiety, depression, disordered eating, substance misuse and PTSD. We've also introduced a specialized trauma-sensitive yoga course designed for yoga teachers, therapists, healthcare providers, and healers. This course enables us to extend the reach of inclusivity and healing within our community.

Upcoming Courses:

Yoga for Traumatic Brain Injuries

At the Jamie Surya Yoga Studio, we offer meditation, yoga, breath work and facilitated group discussion, to individuals who have had traumatic injuries and their caregivers free of charge, with the goal of then having them join in on our TBI friendly group classes. 

Our teachers Jamie Surya, Andres Alves, Leigh LaBrake, Jen Gennaro, & MaryJo Hughes are all certified to teach these specific classes and adapt other classes on our schedule to be TBI friendly.

Chair Yoga​

The Jamie Surya Yoga Studio offers an inclusive and adaptive style of Yoga done seated and supported by a chair for people who may be:

-Recovering from injuries

-Looking for a more gentle approach to Yoga

-Limited in mobility
